"We are here primarily because of us; others are there to support our journey. They help in our journey, our personal journey to freedom. It is all about our personal journey to freedom. We need to get this right, because if we do not get this right, we will always think that all that is happening to us is because of the world, and we blame any and everybody around us. If we want to co-create a better world around us, it begins with us, not with those around us. It begins with us."

40 Days 2010 ....by Sarojnee Naidu Singh
During these 40 Days Sri Vasudeva took us on a journey to different levels of observation.
We were guided to look within ourselves multi-dimensionally, at all our relationships and at our roles as light workers co-creating a more harmonious world. The journey began and ended with us. Each message was supported with a meditation that allowed us to experience the message in a deeper multi-dimensional way. In reflecting on these 40 Days I have written the article below, using Guruji's words, taken from different messages to create a flow that I hope captures the urgency in these messages for change.

Cobourg - A Great Opportunity to
Accelerate Our Growth ...by Uma (Yvonne Keogh) The Ganesha Principle
Sri Vasudeva has taught us over and over again that we have come here for the purpose of self-transformation and that everything that happens to us is a stepping stone in that direction. Seeing obstacles as stepping stones is the way of wisdom.
Speaking from a space of wisdom, Sri Vasudeva sees nothing as "negative," nothing as "failure," nothing, no person, no event, as without importance and Divine intention. He teaches that the more we replace the word "challenge" with the word "opportunity," the more we will come to embrace the hurricanes of life as a means to sweep away our ego/karmic barriers to reveal the Divine Self within.

The Wonders of Energy at Work
...by L. D.
This article is based on a student's sharing of her Kundalini experience following a guided meditation with Lee Majewski, a Blue Star Canada yoga and meditation instructor.
The student explained that during meditation class, "as was breathing in [she] was visualizing yellow gold light, like a thick braided rope, coming in from the top of [her] head, filling first [her] abdomen and then travelling down to [her] ankles and toes."
What followed was a feeling of pressure at her third eye and an energy experience, which started in her abdominal area and travelled upwards and out through the top of her head. This energy was a silvery white and blue light. She also said that she saw a vision of a face, which she did not recognize at the time. Only later, when viewing a photograph at the instructor's home, did she realize she had seen the face of Sri Vasudeva whom she had never met.
Each disciple of the Guru is capable of creating a platform," for those who are receptive, to experience the Kundalini energy. This energy is intelligent and will not cause any harm if we just allow it to flow through us to do its work. As a result of her profound energy experience this student decided to go to the Blue Star Retreat Centre in Trinidad to meet Sri Vasudeva and work on her spiritual growth.

From Our Brothers and Sisters Abroad
Namaskar
Blue Star Canada!
It elevates us, and it is an honour to tell you about our journey and the bliss - and about the birth of Blue Star Hungary, founded by spiritual teacher, Sri Vasudeva.
Sri Vasudeva gave us the key to his unconditional love and trust - and understandably like happy children" we took his precious gift. We recognized that this key can only open the doors and windows of our Self when we build it with constant evolution, consciousness and co-operation.
After a few months, however, we realized that it is much more than this. To help the ignition process of Guruji's unconditional love in Hungarian hearts longing for light and spiritual awakening, we must do devoted service and set a good example in our activities.

An Afternoon with an Inspiration
...by Sara Mohammed
(We are a little late in sharing this exciting event with you but felt that this is an article that you would enjoy reading!) On January 30th, in honour of her birthday, 11 Blue Star members visited Hannah K. at her home in Milton. The day began with pranayama and yoga exercises led by Hannah, who proved that the benefits of physical exercise can be enjoyed at any age. After a wonderful potluck meal, the fun really began! While Hannah went to change into her "satsang attire" (although she was already wonderfully dressed!) we, including Hannah's energetic dog Harshak, gathered in the family room for chanting and meditation.

Blue Star Cobourg
...by Carol Holt
It's hard to imagine that the Cobourg Blue Star group is now meeting for its fourth year. While our group is small, it continues to grow. Recently, two new members from the area joined us: Janice Olsen and Brenda Crossley. On occasion, we've also been blessed to be joined by Deva, Lucy, Gina and Naseem. Our weekly meetings are based on Sri Vasudeva's 40-Day talks. We begin with a series of breaths to cleanse and focus our minds and then listen to Guruji's discussion and meditation. Based on his message we reflect as a group and individually identify something we want to work on in the coming week. Read More
